Before managing arts funding, Gudiño was already in the batey. Born and raised in Villa Palmeras, Santurce, as a musician and dance instructor at the Rafael Cepeda Atiles School of Bomba and Plena, he learned early on that cultural practices sustain communities—and that organizations and their stakeholders are both carriers of identity and drivers of economic activity. That conviction continues to guide his work.

His trajectory in the philanthropic sector includes managing over $25 million in investments directed toward the cultural and creative ecosystem. At the Flamboyan Arts Fund, he oversaw a portfolio of more than 120 grantees and the distribution of over 250 grants to arts organizations and individual artists. At the María Fund, he contributed strategic direction aimed at strengthening the fund’s operational structure and articulating a long-term vision for sustainability.

He has built strategic partnerships with the Mellon Foundation, Ford Foundation, Bloomberg Philanthropies, Doris Duke Charitable Foundation, Levitt Foundation, the National Association of Latino Arts and Culture, and the Puerto Rico Institute of Culture, among others—collaborations that expanded the reach, resources, and impact of each initiative.

Today, through Arte Gestión, he works with nonprofit organizations, foundations, independent artists, and the public sector, offering services ranging from grant research, writing, and management to organizational development, strategic planning, visual content production, and digital strategy.

His work has been published in CENTRO Journal, and he has participated as a panelist at conferences such as Grantmakers in the Arts, the National Assembly of State Arts Agencies, and Chamber Music America. He has also served as a reviewer for the National Endowment for the Arts, The Boston Foundation, Mid Atlantic Arts, and Chamber Music America, among others.

Gudiño holds a Master’s degree in Cultural Management and Administration from the University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedras Campus.

Giving structure to ideas that are ready to grow.

We focus on the management, development, and growth of cultural projects, philanthropic initiatives, brands, creators, and artists.

We were born at the intersection of art, strategy, and execution, with the purpose of transforming ideas into viable and sustainable projects.

Based in Puerto Rico, Arte Gestión operates as a creative partner, not just a service provider. We measure processes, define clear objectives, and build solutions that respond to both the aesthetic and the functional.

In partnership with Arte Gestión, we support artists in designing their business strategy, building their operational framework, and implementing processes that strengthen the administrative side of their practice. We seek to help them see themselves and sustain themselves as ventures, without sacrificing their artistic essence.
